Tamang Heritage Trails Trekking is located on the northern side of Kathmandu. This trek only requires a TIM’s card (Trekking Information Management System) which costs 2000 Nepalese. Namaste, Welcome to Kathmandu a historical valley. With the panoramic Himalayan landscape view, you will land at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu. Day02

You will have a fabulous breakfast with the first good morning in the Himalayas. Your whole trip fellow or guide will wait for you outside at the hotel’s parking. After packing baggage your first day journey began toward Syabru Besi in a private jeep. After having lunch with great serene surroundings. In the evening you will reach Syabru Besi the beautiful village of Langtang region, where the trek begins from.

Day03

Breakfast with a golden view of the mountains. The first day of the hiking journey of the Tamang heritage trek began from Shyabru Besi in order. After 3 to 3.5 hours of gentle walking, reached Goljung Valley (1940m) for lunch. After, you will pass a trail with the great vista of Ganesh Himal and valley along with the Gosaikunda range. After 3 hours of walking, you get a glimpse of the beautiful Tamang town Ghatlang Village. Where the Parvati Kunda is ready to welcome you. You will spend your night at Ghatlang.

Day04

You will start a memorable journey on Tamang Heritage Trail toward Tatopani today. The hours of trails lead you with the sightseeing of Buddhist sites like Chhortens, and Mani walls, to reach Chilime, where you can dam view the scenic lake created for Chilime Hydroelectricity. After crossing the terraced landscape and small bridge. You will stop for lunch at Gonggan village. After lunch again the journey begins towards Tatopani, where you can take a natural hot spring bath, which can be a great relief of acne and pain.

Day05

Today, journey is around 4 to 5 hours so you can take one more hour of sleep. After having breakfast the trails throug the woodlands continue. 

 

The beautiful mountain village with an elevation of approximately 3165m provides a breathtaking view of Langtang Lirung, and Ganesh Himal and surrounding peaks. Greenery lush forests, Valleys, and cultural, traditions are the major highlights of this day. After two hours of making altitude traverse you can have a short tea break. Just after a couple of hours, you will receive Nagthali Danda, which is the final destination for today. You will have lunch at the Tea House. You will have leisure time in the evening and spend the night at Nagthali.

Day06

Briddhim village, located at the opposite of Bhote Kosi river across the valley. The trail can be bit challanging, takes 8 to 9 hours of ascend and descend walk. Trails goes  toward the Timure vial Tamang hamlet Thumna along the former trade route to Tibet.You will stop for lunch at Timure. after the lunch the trails ascends steply ridge with stunning himalayan vista. Beautiful glimpse of  Buddhist community and encounter with their culture, lifestyle. Dawa Dangpo Tsechu is a major  festival celebrated by Buddhist people in Briddim Langtang. You will spend your life at authentic Tibetain influenced culture.

Day07

After a fabulous time in Briddim. After breakfast, you will descend to Syabru Besi where the trek begins from. The trails cover the fertile land, Bhote Kosi River valley including rural settlements. Even the trail has a chance to encounter of Red panda and musk deer. After a few hours of walking by crossing the Bamboo village, Rimche you will reach Lama Hotel for lunch. The majority of the trails descend through lush beautiful forest and dramatic vista of mountains. You reach Syabru after fascinating hours of hike, where you can go for a hot spring water bath on the final day of the trek.

Day08

Today, after departing from Syabru to Kathmandu the journey of the Tamang Heritage Trail Trek will come to an end. After having an early morning breakfast you will drive to Kathmandu via terrace field, river, hills, and highway. After long hours of driving, you can take a rest in your room or you can explore Thamel which shows the historical beauty of the city.

Pashupati Nath Temple

 Around the world, there are 12 Joti Linga, one of which is Pashupati Nath. It was inscribed by UNESCO in 1979 AD. The temple is situated on the northern side of the sacred Bagmati Ganga. Just down the river’s bank is used for the dead carnation of Hindu people or open body burning which is also the ancient practice of Nepalese.

Bouddha Nath Stupa

 The biggest Buddhist stupa in the world represents the compassion, wisdom, and unity of everything alive. The stupa was built by an old woman with the permission of the King in the 5th century and recognized by UNESCO in 1979AD. It is one of the most visited tourist sites in Kathmandu.

Swayambhunath Maha Chaitya (Stupa)

 Swayambhunath is a self-manifested religious site of Buddhist and Hindu people. It was believed that the Swayambhunath was found around the 4th century by Brisha Dev the great-grandfather of the historical kind of Nepal Mana Dev.
